Frankie Dale Shelton, 63, of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019. A memorial visitation will be from 5-7pm Friday, May 10, 2019 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Frankie was one of three children, born to Walter and Wynonna “Nellie” Shelton (Slaten) on October 12, 1955 in Oklahoma. Frankie grew up and attended high school in Blue Springs, MO. After high school, Frankie met and married Michelle Milam in 1987. The two soon began a family having three sons, Michael, Christopher and Benjamin. Frankie was a roofer by trade and enjoyed the men he worked with. He also enjoyed hunting pheasant and quail, doing all kinds of jobs around the house, being a father, and spending time with his grandchildren. Frankie was also a proud member of the Lake Jacomo “Buddy Bass Club” and loved fishing. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Michelle; sons Michael Shelton; Christopher Shelton; and Benjamin Shelton; grandchildren, Dakota, Austin, Jade, and Allison Shelton; brother, Leon (Linda) Shelton; sister, Kathy Shelton; niece, Dianne Williams; and nephew, Dale Shelton.
