    Thomas Harig

    January 25, 1964 - June 26, 2020

    Thomas Mullen Harig, 56, of Mexico, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital-Audrain.

    Memorial Services will be at 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, at Arnold Funeral Home. Visitation is Sunday from 3-4 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Tom was born January 25, 1964 in St. Louis,  to Thomas and Julie (Weber) Harig.

    Tom lived in St. Louis until moving to Columbia in the mid 90’s where he began his career as a commercial roofer at Watkins Roofing.  

    Mr. Harig had his CDL and was a certified crane operator . He had retired after 25 years.

    Tom had a giving spirit and was Catholic by faith. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He loved spending time with his family and dogs, though whenever possible he would be casting a line hoping to catch that “ big one”! Tom was a big fan of the Cardinals and football. He was an active member of the Local 20 Union.

    Survivors include his wife, Deana Harig of the home; his parents, Thomas and Julie Harig of St. Louis; son Steven (Aryn) Rodenbaugh, one granddaughter, Saylor  Rodenbaugh, all of Mexico; one brother Mark Harig, nephew Mairan Harig, and niece Amalka Harig of Czech Republic; one sister Molly (Gavin) O’Shea, nephew Wil O’Shea and niece Julia O’Shea all of Louisville, Ky.

    Tom was preceded in death by one son, Corey Rodenbaugh.
