Leland Ronald “Junior” Goodall, 87, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2022, at the Lansing Care and Rehabilitation Center in Lansing, Kansas.

Mr. Goodall was born January 21, 1935, in Aullville, Missouri. He retired from the Roofers Local 20, after more than 35 years working as a roofer, most recently for Western Roofing. He was an active member of the Liberty Baptist Church where he shared his time and expertise in several construction projects.

Mr. Goodall was preceded in death by his mother and father, Leland Raymond and Dixie Lucille Goodall (Howe); brothers Robert Goodall, William “Bill” Goodall, and Wayne Goodall; sisters Roberta Sands, Leona Smith, and Sharon Miller; a son, Leland “Buddy” Goodall; and a daughter, Gail Goodall.

Left behind is his wife of 66 years, Rachel Jeanette Goodall (Furlong); a sister, Christina Walker; a son, Melvin Goodall; a daughter, Shawna Ware; grandchildren, Micah Ware, Jason Ware, Jennifer Phillips, Kristopher Goodall, Dustin Goodall, Brandon Goodall, Krystal Goodall, Amy Goodall, Megan Goodall, Michael Goodall, Melissa Huffman, Lindsay Bright, and Amanda Bustamante; and a host of great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held at the Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens at 710 North 94th St., in Kansas City, Kansas, on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 10:00 am. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am, with Graveside services immediately after.
